Tony Nguyen and Jennifer Clemison are a race winning Team in their Playtech, Chevy powered racecar! I met Tony online chatting about meeting new people and starting to turn his once toy into a racecar. Both Tony and his wife Jennifer are great people and I think we are going to see good things coming from them throughout the rest of the MDR Racing Season.

Owners/Drivers: Tony Nguyen and Jennifer Clemison (Jennifer drives 1st half and Tony 2nd)
Navigators: Bob Stoll and Chris Martinez
Fabricator: Playtech Fabrication (website: www.playtechfabrication.com)
Car: 2003 Playtech J-Arm Dual Purpose Off-road Car
Motor: Chevy 4.3L, V6 powerplant
Front Suspension: 25" Travel - King Coilovers and Bypass Shocks
Rear Suspension: 22" Travel - King Coilovers and Bypass Shocks
Transmission: Mendeola 4 speed, MD42D

Tony would like to say a few words. " We purchased the car in May 2003 with an intent of just off-roading occasionally in places like Glamis. Soon enough our passion for racing with a Motorcross background lead into converting the car into what it is today. Our car came with a 3 month warranty from Playtech, so for 3 months I treated it like a rental car but it held up. At the Lucerne 400 last year we came out to watch Playtech owner John Gould race the same car as ours in class 10 ,had a blast and in a conversation with John he mentioned modifying our car to become race ready. John agreed to help guide us through the conversion process and get the ball rolling. Soon after that John started supplying materials, Kurt his Top notch fabricator pitched in time to mod/fix the car, along with Neighbor Robert Crook and Frank Hanrahan helped make sure the car would pass tech inspection. After the car was completed, we started racing. Being new to this form of racing I have broken my fair share of parts and pieces along the way. I must add without Playtech's help I would have never gone this far. "
