| The guys
over at Nicely Done Productions have started off their new "Made in Mexico"
series of videos with a bang! The video was definitely entertaining to watch. If you are a
quad/bike lover this is really the film for you. Made in Mexico 1 definitely is a video
about Temecula Motorsports and their entire racing Team. I would call it "A trip down
to Baja with Temecula Motorsports". What I liked! The camera angles and editing were awesome throughout the entire video. The music matched the action more times than not. Having 1 or 2 helicopters handy doesn't hurt as so many of the aerial views allowed you to see how fast these guys move on their machines. The soundtrack was also nice and included more "famous" bands then in other offroad related films. (someone must know someone to get the ok on that one) I enjoyed seeing footage of the people in Mexico and how much they love Desert Racing. Bonus Footage! Once again I think I spent more time in the Bonus section than I did watching the video. I love the way they separated the sections into class of vehicle. Trucks, Bikes, Quads, Helicopter, Scenic, etc.. What I could have done without... Being a truck lover I would have loved to see more of them in this video although after watching it a few times I understand that is not what this video was about. This video is most definitely about Temecula Motorsports and I think it would have been better for them to promote it as such more than a video about Mexico because it was focused on the Team I would say 80% of the film. I would have liked to see more consistency in the filming. I found myself getting dizzy a few times during some scenes because of the camera wobbling around and some sections being much more clear than others. Personally, I love hearing the sounds of race vehicles so I suggest they add more of that to their upcoming Made in Mexico 2! My overall view? A good addition to your Offroad DVD Collection if you are the type of person that wants a little bit of everything! I know that I would want this video on my shelf and so would many friends of mine. For those looking for hardcore trucks 99% of the time this video isn't for you. For those that want to see how fast someone can drive a Quad or Bike in Baja, this is definitely for you. I look forward to reviewing their upcoming second release in the Made in Mexico series, Made in Mexico 2. The preview alone already shows a much wider variety of vehicles which I am sure will please even more people out there.
